  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • coconut - 1 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • pecans, chopped
  • box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item

How to make earthquake cake:

Mix coconut and pecans together; spread in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix cake mix according to directions; pour over first layer. Mix melted butter with powdered sugar and cream cheese. Mix on low speed with mixer; spread on top of cake. Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes.
