Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter
- frozen peas - 3/4 c
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- diced chicken - 2 c
- chicken stock
- pimentos - 1 c
- season to taste - 1 item
- celery, parboiled - 1 c
How to make escalloped chicken:
White Sauce:3 Tbsp. butter3 Tbsp. flour1 1/2 c. chicken stock season to taste Put together with layer of White Sauce and layer of chicken mixture. Cover with buttered crumbs. Bake about 45 minutes at 350°.Hint: You may use 1 can of cream of mushroom soup instead of mushrooms and use a little less White Sauce.
