Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
- container Cool Whip - 1 item
- instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
- chopped pecans optional - 1 item
How to make english trifle:
Bake cake according to package directions. Thaw strawberries and prepare pudding according to package directions. Take a sewing thread and moving it back and forth, cut one (9-inch) layer horizontally. Place bottom half of the layer in a casserole dish. Layer with strawberries and pudding. Place the top of the cake layer on top of this and top with another layer of strawberries and pudding. Top with a thick layer of Cool Whip to fill the bowl. Sprinkle with pecans.
