Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soft butter - 1/4 c
- warm water - 1 c
- cornmeal - 1 item
- sifted enriched flour - 6 c
- active yeast - 1 pkg
How to make english muffins:
Scald milk. Stir in sugar, salt and butter. Cool. Measure water into large bowl. Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved. Add lukewarm milk mixture. Add half of the flour; beat until smooth. Stir in rest of flour. Turn onto lightly floured board. KRecipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Yeast breads.
