Ingredients/Components
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- lean ground beef - 2 lb
- corn tortillas - 12 item
- small onions, chopped - 2 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- can enchilada sauce - 1 oz
- can green chiles, chopped - 1 oz
How to make enchilada casserole:
Brown beef, onions and green chiles. Season with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Dip 3 tortillas in enchilada sauce and place in bottom of greased pan or casserole (9 x 13-inch). Spread with 1/4 of the meat mixture, 1/4 of the soup and 1/4 of the cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 450° for 1/2 hour or until bubbly.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Beef.
