  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 item
  • slightly beaten eggs - 4 item
  • milk, scalded
  • 9-inch unbaked shell - 1 item

How to make egg custard pie:

Mix first 5 ingredients together. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Dash top with nutmeg. Bake at 475° for 5 minutes, then at 425° for 10 to 20 minutes, until filling is set.
