- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- large eggs - 6 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 12 oz
- bacon, fried crisp - 1/2 lb
- slices white bread, cut off crusts - 16 item
How to make egg cheese casserole:
Grease a large pan with butter (9 x 13-inch). Place torn bread and cheese in layers (break bread). Beat eggs, salt and milk. Pour over bread. Prepare overnight and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour. Put bacon crumbs on top the last 15 minutes of baking.Recipe categories: Egg, Breakfast, Casseroles.
