Easy fruit pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 c
- margarine or butter - 1/2 c
- fruit - 1 item
- salt * - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder * - 2 tsp
How to make easy fruit pie:
Melt margarine in deep pie pan or baking dish. Then mix together remaining ingredients, except fruit. Pour this mixture into margarine. Do not stir. Pour in canned/sweetened fruit or use fresh fruit and juice which has been cooked. Do not stir. Bake in moderate oven. This forms its own crust.Note: For apple and pear pie, sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top before baking. *Omit if using self-rising flour.
