Ingredients/Components
- oleo - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- chicken broth
- milk - 1 c
- cubed, cooked chicken - 2 c
- can peas and carrots, drained - 1 oz
- hard-boiled egg, thinly sliced - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
How to make easy chicken pot pie:
Melt butter. Add flour; stir until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add broth and milk. Cook over medium heat; keep stirring until thickened and bubbling. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Pour chicken mixture into deep 1/2-quart casserole. Top with flaky pastry; cut slits.
