Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 1/4 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- sifted powdered sugar - 3 c
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- Miracle Whip salad dressing
- carrots, finely shredded - 2 c
- 2-layer yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make easy carrot cake:
Vanilla "Philly" Frosting:1 (3 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened1 Tbsp. milk1/2 tsp. vanilla3 c. sifted powdered sugar In large bowl of electric mixer, combine cake mix, salad dressing, eggs, water and cinnamon, mixing at medium speed until well blended. Stir in carrots and walnuts. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Frost with Vanilla "Philly" Frosting.Frosting: Combine cream cheese, milk and vanilla, mixing until well blended. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
