Easy blueberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water
- cold water - 1/4 c
- fresh blueberries
- juice of 1/2 orange
- baked 8-inch pie shell - 1 item
- frozen blueberries, thawed and drained - 2 c
How to make easy blueberry pie:
Cook thawed blueberries in 1 1/2 cups of water for 5 minutes. Add sugar and orange juice; cook 5 minutes longer. Combine cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water; mix well. Add cornstarch mixture to blueberry mixture, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Pour into pie shell. Cover with fresh blueberries.
