Easy beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 6 item
- small onion - 1 item
- medium carrots - 6 item
- can beef consomme - 1 item
- stew meat beef - 2 lb
How to make easy beef stew:
Preheat oven at 350°. Place flour, oregano, salt and pepper in a plastic bag. Twist top and shake to mix. Cut meat into 1-inch cubes. Toss meat in bag with flour to coat.Melt butter in medium skillet over medium-low heat. Add meat to skillet and cook 5 to 8 minutes. Stir with a wooden spoon to brown evenly. Remove from heat and put meat in a large 3 to 4-quart casserole.
Cut carrots into 2-inch pieces. Cut potatoes in quarters. Chop onion. Add vegetables to casserole. Pour soups over all and stir.
Place in oven with a lid. Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
