Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • stick butter, melted - 1 item
  • German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
  • cream cheese room temperature - 8 oz

How to make earthquake cake:

Spray pan with Pam. Mix coconut and nuts and put in bottom of pan (1st layer). Mix cake mix according to directions and pour over 1st layer. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, melted butter and vanilla and pour over 2nd layer. Bake at 350° about 45 to 50 minutes.
