  • chopped pecans - 1/4 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
  • yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • can crushed pineapple heavy syrup - 1 oz

How to make dump cake:

Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread pineapple. Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple. Sprinkle on dry cake mix. Spread nuts over cake mix; dot with butter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until lightly browned. Serve warm with Cool Whip.
