  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 4 Tbsp
  • salt
  • flour - 5 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c

How to make drop sugar cookies:

Cream butter and add next 5 ingredients. Combine last 3 ingredients and add to mixture. Mix, if needed. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheets. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 400° for about 8 minutes.
