Ingredients/Components

  • oleo - 1 c
  • sage - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • onions, chopped - 3 c
  • celery, chopped - 3 c
  • hard-boiled eggs - 1 doz
  • can mushroom soup - 1 item
  • slices toasted bread - 12 item
  • can chicken soup - 1 item
  • pan cornbread pie pan size - 1 item
  • liquid chicken broth or 2 cubes chicken flavored bouillon - 2 c

How to make dressing:

Saute chopped celery and onion in oleo in iron skillet until tender. Chop boiled eggs and set aside. Mix all other ingredients, adding chopped eggs last. Bake in 375° oven until brown on top.
