Doubly chocolate cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 12 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- chopped nuts optional - 1/2 c
- cocoa powder - 2/3 c
- 2 sticks butter, softened - 1 c
How to make doubly chocolate cookies:
Heat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
