Doubly chocolate cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cocoa - 2/3 c
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- 12 oz - 2 c
- 2 sticks margarine, softened - 1 c
- coarsely chopped nuts optional - 1/2 c
How to make doubly chocolate cookies:
Heat oven to 350°. In large mixer bowl beat margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to sugar mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
