Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla
  • chopped nuts
  • water - 3/4 c
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • white Karo syrup - 3/4 c

How to make divinity:

Beat egg whites until stiff. Mix remaining ingredients. Cook until syrup strings from spoon. Pour half of mixture over egg whites. Cook remaining syrup 2 minutes and pour over whites. Beat until mixture holds a peak. Add nuts and vanilla and drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.
