Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- flour like pie crust; add cold water
- Add flour and stir hard until smooth
How to make danish puff:
Cut together butter and 1 c. flour like pie crust; add cold water. Roll into ball. Divide in half; spread on cookie sheet to size 4 X 12 (2 sections).SECOND LAYER:1/2 c. butter1 tsp. almond extract1 c. water1 C. flour3 eggs Bring butter, flavoring and water to boil; remove from heat. Add flour and stir hard until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat until smooth. Divide in half and spread over each bottom layer. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Let cool.BUTTER ICING:1/4 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla2 Tbsp. milk Mix ingredients together and beat until smooth and creamy. Put half of icing on each cooked pastry.
