Cucumber relish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vinegar - 2 c
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- large onions - 3 item
- canning salt - 1 Tbsp
- to 16 cucumbers - 14 item
How to make cucumber relish:
Grind cucumbers until you have 7 to 8 cups cucumbers and drain liquid from cucumbers. Grind onions until you have 2 cups onions. Put cucumbers and onions in a container so it can drain overnight. Next day, put vinegar and sugar in a pan; bring to a boil. Add celery seed, turmeric and canning salt, then add ground cucumbers and onions.
