Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 4 c
- baking soda
- shortening - 3/4 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- sour milk
How to make crumb cake:
Mix together first three ingredients into crumbs; save about 1 cup of crumbs for top. Add other ingredients to crumb mixture. Sprinkle saved cup of crumbs on top of cakes. Bake about 35 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Egg, Breads, Coffee cakes.
