Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese - 6 oz
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • frozen peas - 10 oz
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • fresh mushrooms - 1 lb
  • can onion rings - 1 item
  • can pearl onions

How to make creamy vegetable casserole:

Saute mushrooms in the butter. Blend in the flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add cream cheese; stir until melted. Stir in peas and onions. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle onion rings over casserole. Bake an additional 5 minutes.
