Creamy vegetable casserole
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 6 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- frozen peas - 10 oz
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- fresh mushrooms - 1 lb
- can onion rings - 1 item
- can pearl onions
How to make creamy vegetable casserole:
Saute mushrooms in the butter. Blend in the flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add cream cheese; stir until melted. Stir in peas and onions. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle onion rings over casserole. Bake an additional 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
