- cream cheese - 3 oz
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 oz
How to make broccoli-cauliflower casserole:
Cook broccoli and cauliflower in boiling water for 5 minutes; drain. Melt 1/2 of butter. Add flour, salt and pepper. Add milk; cook and stir until bubbly. Blend in cream cheese. Combine with vegetables in a 1 1/2-quart casserole; top with cheese. Sprinkle with crumbs tossed with remaining butter. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Cheese, Casseroles.
