Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • shredded carrot - 1/2 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • shredded cabbage - 4 c
  • finely chopped bell pepper - 1/4 c

How to make creamy coleslaw:

In large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, pepper and onion. For dressing, stir together mayo, vinegar, sugar, celery seed and salt. Pour dressing over cabbage and toss lightly. Cover and chill. Serves 8.
