Creamy coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shredded carrot - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise or salad dressing - 1/2 c
- finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- finely chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- shredded cabbage - 4 c
How to make creamy coleslaw:
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, green pepper and onion. To prepare dressing, stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing, vinegar, sugar, celery seed and salt. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture; toss lightly to coat vegetables. Cover and chill. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Vegetarian.
