- can Eagle Brand condensed milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- hot water - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- whipping cream 1/2 pt - 1 c
How to make creamy chocolate pie:
In sauce pan, over medium heat, melt chocolate with salt and Eagle Brand. Cook and stir until thick and fudgy (approximately 5 to 8 minutes); add water, cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils. Remove from heat, add vanilla; let cool for 15 minutes. Chill 20 to 30 minutes, stir; folding in whipped cream. Pour mixture into pie shell and chill three hours. Garnish as desired.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
