Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- chicken broth
- margarine, melted - 6 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sherry - 2 Tbsp
- cream or milk - 1 c
- chicken, cooked and diced - 1 c
How to make creamed chicken:
Blend melted margarine, flour, salt and pepper and cook over low heat until bubbling. Remove from heat and stir in broth and cream. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in gently the chicken and sherry. Cook slightly until well blended and heated.Suggestion: Serve over toast or on a bed of rice. This recipe is easy and tasty.
