Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 6 Tbsp
  • chicken broth
  • margarine, melted - 6 Tbsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • sherry - 2 Tbsp
  • cream or milk - 1 c
  • chicken, cooked and diced - 1 c

How to make creamed chicken:

Blend melted margarine, flour, salt and pepper and cook over low heat until bubbling. Remove from heat and stir in broth and cream. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in gently the chicken and sherry. Cook slightly until well blended and heated.

Suggestion: Serve over toast or on a bed of rice. This recipe is easy and tasty.
