Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cream - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
How to make cream scones:
Preheat oven to 425°. Lightly butter a cookie sheet. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl.Work in the butter with your fingers or pastry blender until it resembles a coarse meal. Add the eggs and cream. Stir until blended. Turn onto a floured board and knead for 1 minute. Roll dough to 3/4-inch thick and cut into wedges. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
