Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- heavy cream - 1/2 pt
- instant vanilla pudding - 1 item
How to make cream puffs:
Add butter to water; heat until butter melts. Add flour, all at once, and stir until ball forms in center of pan. Remove from stove; let stand five minutes. Add eggs, beating after adding each egg (batter should be stiff). Shape onto buttered cookie sheet by dropping by spoonfuls. Bake about 30 to 35 minutes at 375°.Filling: Mix instant pudding with one cup of milk. Place in refrigerator. Whip heavy cream. Add one teaspoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Mix pudding and cream together. Cut open puffs and spoon filling inside. Recipe yields approximately 18 cream puffs.
