How to make cream of coconut cake:

Mix cake as to directions. While still warm, punch holes all over cake. Pour over a mixture of cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Allow cake to cool thoroughly and spread with the Cool Whip, then sprinkle with shredded coconut. Cake must be refrigerated and is very moist.
