- sugar - 3 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- sticks butter - 3 item
- Add eggs, one at a time
- baking powder optional - 1 tsp
How to make cream cheese pound cake:
Cream butter and cream cheese. Add eggs, one at a time. Add sugar and blend well. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.Bake in a Bundt pan. Start baking in a cold oven (set at 325°) for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake springs back when touched in middle.Cream Cheese Icing:4 oz. cream cheese1 box confectioners sugar1/4 c. milk1/4 tsp. vanilla extract Mix cream cheese and sugar. Add milk and blend until smooth. Add vanilla and continue to blend for a few seconds more.
