Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 2 oz
  • boiling water - 3 Tbsp
  • egg, separated - 1 item
  • refrigerator crescent rolls - 2 pkg
  • dash of vanilla - 1 item
  • Add sugar and blend

How to make cream cheese coffee cake:

Cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add sugar and blend. Add egg yolk, then vanilla and blend together. Use 1 package of rolls and stretch onto a cookie sheet. Spread cream cheese filling on top of rolls. Use other package of rolls for top (stretch them also). Pinch sides together with fork. Brush egg white on top with pastry brush. Bake at 375° for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown (time may vary with oven).Glaze:2 c. powdered sugar3 Tbsp. boiling water dash of vanilla Glaze immediately with mixture of powdered sugar, boiling water and vanilla. Refrigerate until chilled, then slice.
