Ingredients/Components

  • or 3 small boxes cherry Jell-O - 2 item
  • large or 2 small oranges - 1 item
  • raw cranberries - 1 lb
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • celery - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • large can crushed pineapple - 1 item

How to make cranberry salad:

Grind oranges and cranberries; add 2 cups sugar and let stand about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Drain pineapple; let pineapple juice come to boiling point. Add enough water to Jell-O to make about 3 cups; mix with Jell-O. Add to orange, sugar and cranberries along with nuts, celery and pineapple. Put in refrigerator overnight. Will keep as long as it lasts.
