Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- Crisco - 6 Tbsp
- sifted flour - 4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 6 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- butter
- milk or cream substitute 1/4 c
- flour - 2 tsp
How to make cranberry pudding:
Sauce:1 c. butter1 1/2 c. milk or cream (substitute 1/4 c. sherry for part of milk if desired)2 c. sugar2 tsp. flour Pudding: Cream shortening and sugar. Add 1 cup milk. Sift in dry ingredients. Add another cup milk. Stir in washed cranberries. Bake 30 minutes at 350° in a 9 x 13-inch pan.Sauce: Heat sauce ingredients slowly.
