Cranberry gelatin salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts optional - 1/4 c
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- can whole berry cranberry sauce - 1 item
How to make cranberry gelatin salad:
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. In a saucepan, mix reserved juice, 1/2 cup water and lemon juice. Heat to boiling. Remove from heat and add gelatin. Stir thoroughly to break up cranberry sauce, then add to gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until mixture starts to set. Stir in pineapple, celery and nuts. Pour into a 4-cup mold. Chill until firm.
