Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 5 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- fresh cranberries, halved
How to make cranberry coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. flour1/2 c. sugar3 Tbsp. butter or margarine Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; cut in butter with pastry blender until crumbly. Combine egg and milk; stir into dry mixture. Mix well. Spread batter in greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cranberries over top of batter. Sprinkle topping over cranberries. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
