Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- raw cranberries - 2 c
- cream half and half - 1/2 c
How to make cranberry cake:
Butter Sauce:1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. flour1 Tbsp. vinegar1/2 c. butter1/2 c. cream (half and half)1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Sift together dry ingredients. Add milk, egg, melted butter and cranberries. Bake in an 8-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes or longer, until tests done.Sauce: Mix flour and sugar. Add all ingredients, except vanilla, in saucepan. Heat well, until bubbly. Add vanilla and serve warm.
