Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- brown sugar - 1 c
- saltine crackers - 1 item
- sticks butter no substitute - 2 item
How to make cracker candy:
Line a 9 x 13-inch cookie sheet with foil. Arrange saltine crackers, 1 layer thick, in rows on cookie sheet.Combine butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes after it starts to boil, but do not let it get brown. Pour over crackers. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips over all. Let set a few minutes.
When melted, spread evenly like icing. Place pan in freezer to harden. Break into pieces. Keep in airtight container.
