Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- chili powder - 3 Tbsp
- ground beef
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- green onions, chopped - 4 item
- onion - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and cubed - 6 item
- can whole kernel corn - 1 oz
- bell pepper, chopped - 1/2 c
- can Ranch Style beans - 1 oz
- 303 can tomatoes
How to make cowboy stew:
In Dutch oven, melt butter and brown meat. Saute onion, celery, garlic and bell pepper with meat. Add rest of ingredients and cook about 40 minutes. Stir frequently. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Southwestern u.s., Stew.
