Country vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- stalks celery - 2 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium carrots, sliced - 2 item
- can whole kernel corn - 1 oz
- stew beef - 1 lb
- medium potatoes, diced - 2 item
- cans whole tomatoes, chopped - 2 oz
- butter peas, frozen - 3 c
- box cut okra, frozen - 1 item
How to make country vegetable soup:
Cook stew beef in Dutch oven with a quart of water for about 30 minutes. Then add all other ingredients and cook for another 30 minutes. (Add water as needed.) Serve hot with cornbread. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Pasta.
