Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted shortening - 1 tsp
- whole kernel corn
How to make corn fritters:
Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Beat eggs with milk. Add shortening and corn. Combine flour and corn mixture. Stir only until moistened. Drop by teaspoonful onto a sizzling hot skillet. Fry until golden brown on each side. Yields 4 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
