Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- cornmeal - 1 c
- butter or bacon drippings - 1 Tbsp
How to make corn dodger:
Mix all ingredients except water. Pour water over this mixture and beat until well blended. Dip hands in cold water. Take a handful of batter and drop onto a greased cookie sheet or griddle.
