Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- can cream-style corn - 1 1/2
- minced chives - 2 Tbsp
How to make corn cakes:
Combine first 4 ingredients well. Heat a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil. When hot, drop by heaping tablespoons and cook until bottoms are golden, about 1 minute. Turn cakes over and brown the other side. Repeat using all the batter. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Grains, Vegetables, Corn.
