Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- corn oil - 1/4 c
- corn meal - 1 c
- slightly beaten egg - 1 item
How to make corn bread:
Melt butter in a 375° oven for about 5 minutes in skillet. Combine corn meal, buttermilk, egg and oil to the other dry ingredients until dry ingredients are moistened. Remove skillet from hot oven.
