- meat drippings - 2 Tbsp
- self-rising white corn meal - 2 c
How to make corn bread:
Melt drippings in 10-inch iron skillet in hot oven (425°). Add milk, egg and drippings to corn meal. Stir until well blended. Pour into hot, prepared skillet. Bake in preheated oven at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Southern u.s..
