Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- sour milk - 1 c
- corn meal - 1 c
How to make corn bread:
Combine dry ingredients. Beat in milk, then egg. Blend in butter. Pour into greased muffin pans. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Makes about 12 small muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Southern u.s..
