Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water
- oil - 1/3 c
- shortening - 3/4 c
- egg whites - 3 item
- powdered sugar
- white cake mix - 1 pkg
- crushed cream filled cookies chocolate sandwich - 1 c
How to make cookies and cream cake:
Frosting:3 c. powdered sugar3/4 c. shortening1 tsp. vanilla2 egg whites Cake: Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. In a large bowl combine all cake ingredients except cookies. Pour batter into a greased pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes. Cool completely.Frosting: In a small bowl combine 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar, shortening, vanilla and 2 egg whites; blend well. Beat in remaining powdered sugar until frosting is smooth and creamy. Garnish with cherry.
