Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- butter - 1/2 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 2 oz
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- frozen whipped topping - 2 c
- vanilla ice cream, softened - 1/2 gal
How to make cookies and cream:
Combine crushed cookies and 1/2 cup butter. Press into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Freeze. Spread ice cream on crusts and freeze.In a large saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, 1/2 cup butter and chocolate. Bring to a boil, stirring often and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture thickens. Cool and spread over ice cream; freeze. Before serving, spread whipped topping over dessert. Garnish with nuts. Serves 18.
