Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- butter or margarine - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- brown sugar
- baking powder
- chocolate chips - 1 pkg
How to make congo squares:
Melt butter and add brown sugar. Stir well and allow to cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well.Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Add nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into greased 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake in a 350° oven about 25 minutes. Cut into squares.
